What's a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is, obviously, a listing of fans. The point of a fanlisting is to try to build the largest listing of fans of a particular thing, place, person. This fanlisting was approved by the TheFanListings.org network.
What are ocarinas?
Ocarinas are flute-like instruments. They come in different sizes, shapes, and colors and are made from many different materials such as plastic, wood, glass, and some are ceramic. The ocarina is sometimes called a "sweet potato". Ocarinas are one of the oldest instruments, dating back around 12,000 years ago. They are thought to have originated from the Chinese and Mesoamerican cultures. Western countries eventually started producing these beautiful instruments in the 19th century.
Sound is made from an ocarina when you blow air through the mouthpiece. Different notes can be made when you cover the finger holes of the ocarina. Ocarinas may have anywhere from 4 to 13 finger holes. Ocarinas have appeared in various movies, ensembles, songs, cartoons, and even video games: most notably, Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series, in which the main character's ocarina has mystical powers.
